10 Days From Casablanca Imperial Cities & Sahara Desert Tour

Description

This 10-day tour starting in Casablanca is a classic, well-balanced route that combines Morocco’s Imperial Cities (Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fez, Marrakech) with the natural drama of the Sahara Desert (Merzouga / Erg Chebbi dunes). It’s designed for travelers who want both culture and landscapes without feeling rushed: you’ll visit UNESCO sites, royal-era monuments, vibrant medinas, and then cross the Middle Atlas into desert terrain—palmeries, gorges, and kasbah valleys—before finishing in Marrakech (or back in Casablanca if you prefer).

Compared to shorter itineraries, 10 days allows more comfortable driving days, time for guided city tours in Fez and Marrakech, and a fuller desert experience (sunset, dunes, and an overnight in a camp). The itinerary is flexible: you can upgrade accommodations, add a luxury desert camp, choose camel ride vs 4×4 transfer, and adjust the pace for families, seniors, or photography-focused travelers.

Offers, Conditions & Cancellation

  • Cancellation policy: Free cancellation is commonly available up to 24–72 hours before departure, but the exact deadline depends on the accommodation and desert camp cancellation rules used for your booking. Your final policy will be confirmed in writing before payment is completed.
  • Deposits & non-refundable elements: Some hotels and most desert camps in peak season may require a deposit to guarantee the reservation. Certain deposits can be partially or fully non-refundable, especially for late cancellations, date changes, or no-shows.
  • Itinerary flexibility: For safety and logistics (weather, road closures, heavy traffic, site opening changes), the order of visits may be modified. We aim to keep all major highlights, but timings and sequence can change.
  • Driving times are estimates: Distances in Morocco are significant; travel times vary with road conditions and stops. We include breaks, and additional stops can be added within reason.
  • Optional activities: Camel rides, quad/buggy, sandboarding, hammams, and extra guides are optional and paid separately unless explicitly included in your package.
  • Desert camp standards: “Standard” vs “luxury” camp affects comfort and amenities (private bathroom, bedding quality, heating/AC availability). Exact details are confirmed before booking.
  • Health & safety: Camel riding is optional; a 4×4 transfer is available if preferred or recommended for comfort. Travelers are responsible for informing us of mobility limitations or medical conditions so we can adjust planning.
  • Pick-up/drop-off logistics: Riads in old medinas may require meeting at the nearest accessible point. A reachable phone/WhatsApp number is required for coordination.
  • Dietary requests: We can request vegetarian/vegan or allergy-sensitive meals when notified in advance, but cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination in all kitchens.
  • Force majeure: In rare cases of events beyond control (extreme weather, closures, strikes), alternatives or rescheduling may be offered; refunds (full or partial) depend on the services already reserved/used.
