DAY 1: FEZ-IFRANE- AZROU-MIDELT- MERZOUGA
Our Sahara Desert tours from Fes to Fes 2 Days 1 Night, will start by driving you in our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, towards Merzouga passing by the Middle Atlas Mountains; some of the most wonderful sceneries in Morocco. We’ll travel through the vast cedar forest near Ifrane; “The Garden city” of Morocco, A little version of Switzerland. We’ll stop at this point for a short break then continue our way through Azrou, Midelt and Ziz Gorges. Natural sand dunes of Erg Chebbi will appear from a long distance… we’ll stop for a while to see the Kasbah where a lot of movies were made. We’ll reach Merzouga after few hours of driving and exploring the beautiful green area where the camels are waiting for us to start our journey to the dunes and establish our well-equipped camps. We’ll trek to the high dunes on camels to see the panoramic sunset, one of the beautiful occurrences on the planet. We’ll spend the night afterwards in comfortable nomadic tents surrounded by Berber drumming and a star-filled sky for an extraordinary day.
DAY 2: MERZOUGA-SHARA DESERT AND CAMEL TREKKING
We’ll get up early to see Erg Chebbi’s sunrise and then we camel trek back to Merzouga so as to enjoy our breakfast and freshen up before we coming back to Fez city.
Our team then will take you to Ziz Valley; the valley of roses and then continue our way to Middle Atlas. We’ll stop for a short break in cedar forest and observe/feed the Barbary Monkeys.
Our Driver will drop you off at your accommodation, train station or airport when we arrive to Fez in the evening.
